As the Bangladesh Army expanded its role in hosting national ceremonies, international conferences, military functions, and large public gatherings, the need for a modern multipurpose auditorium and event complex became increasingly important. Existing facilities could no longer meet the growing demand for a venue that reflected the Army’s prestige, professionalism, and evolving operational requirements.
Located in Matikata, Dhaka Cantonment, Sena Prangan was envisioned as a landmark institutional and event destination. Designed to accommodate diverse functions within a contemporary architectural environment, the project aimed to create a lasting venue that would strengthen the Army’s capacity to host significant national and international events for generations to come.
